Benjamin Media Inc. (BMI) started as a vision of president and publisher, Bernard Krzys, in 1992.  He saw that the emerging trenchless construction market needed a voice and launched Trenchless Technology magazine.  The publication was designed for the people and businesses that were driving acceptance of trenchless technology in the construction market. Trenchless Technology was accepted immediately, and the publication grew from a bi-monthly to a monthly publication in two years. Today, trenchless construction methods are widely accepted around the globe and are often required over traditional open-cut construction and trenching methods.

Today, BMI is a multi-faceted business-to-business media company in markets ranging from construction to water infrastructure.  It is dedicated to meeting the expectations of its readers, advertisers, vendors and all stakeholders in the markets it serves.  BMI has found success identifying and promoting emerging markets through quality business-to-business publications and innovative exhibitions and conference programs.

BMI currently publishes seven trade magazines: Alternative Power Construction (APC), Compact Equipment, North American Pipelines (NAP), TBM: Tunnel Business Magazine, Trenchless Technology, Water Utility Infrastructure Management (UIM), and Utility Contractor (for the National Utility Contractors Association, NUCA).  BMI is committed to Web and interactive media by enhancing our print media with innovative and informative Web content for each publication.  In addition, BMI manages conferences and exhibitions across the U.S.-- from the Trenchless Road Shows to NASTT's No-Dig --and complements these shows with online webinar programs.
